I am not a very “kitchen” person– that’s a confession.  But of course, since I am a wife and mom, I have to cook and even bake.  Not that I detest doing it– but I have some other favorite household chores that I prefer to cooking.

I could not imagine how kids these days could easily have their own phones and gadgets.  I mean I can clearly remember how difficult to have my own cellphone when I was 2o!  But really, phones these days are a necessity.  In fact, we have just given our 11 year-old Ria one of those unlocked cell phones we got from the Philippines. Hubby used to have that phone but then my father gave him a newer model– something he really like using, too.

So yes, Ria has her own phone now but to be honest, she is still getting the hang of it. In fact, the phone has just been sitting there for the past few hours being charged and she totally forgot about it! Well, I guess she should get used to it because there are many times that I forget to bring my own phone and so it’s always helpful to have one more phone to use in case of emergency.
