Day at the Park

While hubby was away for more than two weeks, I had a foretaste of how it is being a single parent. Not easy! I had to keep two active kids from being bored, do laundry, cook food, do the budgeting, etc. etc. But I was surprised at myself– come to think of it, I still managed to prepare for my teaching job which is 3x a week and  handled all 30 kids well. Did I mention I still had time to garden? to blog? facebook? That’s what a super mom can do! Long live the moms! LOL. :)

One of the activities that the kids and I had was to go to a nearby park and boy, did we have some fun!

Ria is taller than her age… she does not look like she’s 9 but SHE IS 9!  She loves to climb and play, just like any other kid her age.  :)

Roi is lost in “the pirate world” when he was on this playground.  All aboard!! Attack!!  Abandon ship!! LOL!

The kids found some bunnies on the ground. One big brown one and two of the cutest, most adorable white bunnies I have ever seen! The owners come to this park and let their pets run around and enjoy the momentary freedom. :)

What fun it was. I am looking for another family time in this park or elsewhere. This time with hubby!
