First day of school!
It was the kids’ first day of class last Monday, June 20. They were so excited! I am so happy because despite the fact that they will be homeschooled, they would have 3 other kids to learn with, so it’s going to be that lonely for them.
Aside from that, they will be learning at the center, where we hold free English tutorials. So it’s really like a school atmosphere for them, with tables, books and a teacher! Yes, this is really one of the greatest blessings we have received this year. A teacher from the Philippines has come to help us. She is so gifted, sporty, funny and loves the kids!

Ria and Roi ready to head out for school! Ria is wearing her pink dress– My, she is really getting taller now. Maybe she should stop wearing that dress as it’s getting to be a little bit skimpy already. Haha!

Clockwise: Roi studies with James, another kid his age. Lunch with Teacher Belle. They have so much fun telling “knock-knock” jokes and laughing a lot. The kids recite the Panatang makabayan or the pledge of allegiance to our country and to the Bible and the last photo is Teacher Belle gives an orientation before they head out to their individual desks.
Family time at the Park
Thailand celebrate Father’s day every 5th of December, in time for the King’s birthday. But of course since we have gotten used to celebrating it every June, our family along with another family went to the park to celebrate it.
We went to the King’s Park, or “Suan Luang” in Thai. This park is built in honor of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej. It is so huge we were not able to see lots of things including what is inside this beautiful museum!

P.s. I have other beautiful King’s Park photos at my other blog, Colors and Contrasts. You might like to drop by and join Wednesday Whites!
