Happy family, planes and airports

Sharing with you my boy’s drawings.  The first one is our happy family and the second one is about planes and airports.  He seems to be missing the Philippines and loving it here at the same time.

Choco Pudding, Kiwi Style

A “Kiwi” is what New Zealanders call themselves.  We had a Kiwi stay in our house for three weeks, and it was great having her. Two nights before she headed back to India (she works there), Rachel taught my 9-year old Ria how to do a choco pudding the Kiwi way. Actually Rachel knew how to bake other things, but because we don’t have an oven yet, she chose this because this will only be done in the microwave.

Mixing the ingredients..

Ria doing it alone

Into the microwave for 12 minutes…

Wee! here it is!

Oops, this side is a little bit messy! haha!

the proud little chef!

Yum! Let’s get messy!
